Baby Naming Craziness

Well, I know that I'm a dork, but this really proves it!  I decided to use a name consulting service because I've been stressing so much about our baby's name.  Brian has made some great suggestions, but many don't go well with our last name.  Then many of the names that I picked out Brian isn't very fond of.  So I've made a list of about 15 names that we like and I wanted to see if a "professional" would pick any of these names for our baby.  The professional naming consultant looks at your last name, family names, and other preferences and gives you a list of names that goes well together phonetically.  I don't want to divulge our personal list that we have created ourselves, but I thought it would be fun to share the list that I received yesterday from the naming consultants at www.babynames.com.  By the way, 2 of our names are on the list below!

Avery Paige Ashton
Nora Camille Ashton
Ainsley Claire Ashton
Caroline Marie Ashton
Valerie Cecilia Ashton
Meredith Eden Ashton

Alexandra Faith Ashton
LilyAnne Alexis Ashton
Madeleine Rose Ashton
Quinn Catherine Ashton
Amelia Charlotte Ashton
Gabriella (Ella) Eve Ashton

Ultrasound Pictures - 1/30/09

Finally - I got around to scanning and uploading my ultrasound pictures from 1/30/09 - Yay! They are a little blury because she was moving around quite a bit. She's such a little diva already!! =)

Lola - Our Snow Bunny

Lola is the official Ashton family snow bunny! You would think because she is so short that she would hate the snow, but that is just not the case. I was able to get a few seconds of her running around, but it doesn't even compare to watching her in real life. I love watching her play in the snow it just makes you laugh - especially when the snow is up to her head!

My Belly is Moving!

What a weird and amazing feeling!  Today if the first time that I saw my belly move when our baby girl was moving and kicking around.  She is growing and becoming stronger with each passing day.  I really wish that there would be some way for Brian and other father's to have the same experiences that mothers have . . . wouldn't that be great?
